The Way of the Wildkind 12-Month Curriculum
A sacred arc of descent, emergence, expansion, and return.
Fall – Descent & Rooting (Initiation, Letting Go, Earth Wisdom)
1. September – The Threshold: Answering the Call
Begin the journey by stepping out of the known and into the wild mystery.
Focus: Intentional initiation, rhythm of descent, Earth connection, sacred witnessing.
2. October – The Descent: Embracing Shadow & the Wild Unknown
Learn from the dark. Let fall what no longer serves.
Focus: Shadow work, ancestral connection, facing fear, composting old stories.
3. November – The Embers: Resilience, Rest & Nervous System Wisdom
Deep rest, earth-holding, and tending your internal fire for the winter ahead.
Focus: Grounding practices, nervous system regulation, trust, inner steadiness.
Winter – Listening & Visioning (Inner Flame, Sovereignty, Stillness)
4. December – The Return: Story, Reflection & Wild Legacy
Honor what has been revealed so far and gather the wisdom.
Focus: Personal storytelling, seasonal rituals, integrating the descent.
5. January – The Deep Root: Visioning & Sovereignty
Plant intentions in the dark soil. Align with your true North.
Focus: Core values, soul visioning, sacred discipline, cyclical planning.
6. February – The Spark: Fire Tending & Aliveness
Midwinter firecraft—ignite your inner flame and learn to keep it alive.
Focus: Daily aliveness practices, personal power, fire as metaphor and skill.
Spring – Emergence & Growth (Rebirth, Feminine Power, Play)
7. March – The Thaw: Senses, Soil & Reconnection
Reawaken your senses and meet the world again with wonder.
Focus: Sensory practices, foraging, nature rituals, presence, slow emergence.
8. April – The Bloom: The Wild Feminine Awakens
Express and embody your sacred wildness.
Focus: Feminine archetypes, creativity, embodiment, reclaiming pleasure.
9. May – The Hive: Sisterhood & Sacred Belonging
Deepen into the medicine of the collective.
Focus: Circle culture, trust building, shared leadership, celebration of interconnection.
Summer – Expansion & Embodiment (Action, Skill, Expression)
10. June – The Radiance: Confidence & Courageous Voice
Stand fully in your light and lead with heart.
Focus: Leadership expression, voice work, boundaries, visibility.
11. July – The Skills: Earth Survival & Sacred Self-Reliance
Equip your body and soul with the tools to thrive in any terrain.
Focus: Wilderness survival skills, firecraft, water, shelter, inner grit.
12. August – The Compass: Intuitive Tracking & Soul Navigation
Track your path forward using nature and intuition as guides.
Focus: Clairsenses, animal tracking, symbolic awareness, walking your medicine.

Jess Caldwell is an ALIVENESS coach, resilience trainer, wilderness survival instructor and Wilderness First Responder. With a degree in Health & Holistic Wellness and as a certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Jess offers a multi-faceted approach to integrated living. With a unique training as a Death Doula, Jess has been a public speaker and educator for empowered end-of-life practices from green burial to home funerals.
As the founder of Wildkind Outdoors, Jess has been educating, leading workshops and facilitating rewilding retreats for over 5 years. She has a unique curriculum that incorporates holistic survival skills that build confidence and leadership in the outdoors while weaving situational awareness, mindfulness practices and intuition training throughout the context of learning.
Jess is a full-time rewilder who lives in harmony with seasonal alignment, nature studies and wild food harvesting for holistic health. She believes that self-reliance is the new self-care as we navigate a modern world that is changing rapidly. Now is the time to deepen our relationship with self, community and all things wild and free in nature to cultivate a truly inspired life with meaning and purpose.

Lindsay James is a Ceremonialist, Death Doula & Grief Tender, Community Bridge, Teacher, Breath & Sound Somatic Practitioner, Mystic, and Mentor. She walks with
People and Partners into the heart of their lives to unearth and integrate the densities and discords so they may cultivate Right-Relationship with Self, Source, and their Relations.
As an Earth-based practitioner she guides people through the lens of nature-based wisdom and rhythms bringing people into deeper recognition of their own innate connection to life-giving action, essence, and service to self and other. At the heart of her work, is a strong focus on a return to collective care, embodied leadership, community action, and stewardship of land and life itself.
